“They don’t make them anymore” is what I can say about Neil and this shop. Super honest people. I brought my Toyota 2000 Sienna for some issues. He could have made big bucks from my situation but he instead suggested to try something first before I spend the money. It worked! His son even refused the tip I was giving him since I was very happy. He said “ This is what we do, why charge people unnecessarily?” Thank you again Neil! God bless you and your family!

Long time customer of Canyon Muffler and Smog. They are a local & family owned auto repair shop with many years of experience. Neil is the owner/ manager that is always there to greet you with a smile and warm handshake. Neil and his team offer quality workmanship, reliable service and above all honesty and transparency. I have been fortunate to know Neil for years through his Smog shop. He has always advised me on the things that I can do to my vehicle to get it to pass the smog. I own an old classic vehicle, I don’t drive it much but it always requires a smog. Neil and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service. They offer very competitive/ reasonable pricing, fast service, and quality work. Whether you need catalytic converter work/ replacement, muffler work/ installations, or smog checks, Canyon Muffler and Smog delivers top-notch service with a personal touch. Canyon Muffler is a family owned business I found through a few associates of mines. The owner, Neil, has had experience in the aerospace industry and has been in the automotive industry for almost 25 years. When I came to his shop asking about some exhaust work to my 1970 Mustang, I was able to get some information from him and an idea of what I wanted with his help. Neil guided me through what my options were for my car. I was also given the costs of different parts of the work I wanted to be done which helped. Neil had all the parts in his shop available to do the work. I took my car back to the shop on a day that worked for me and was able to have it back the same day. Neil allowed me to look over the work that was done and start the car after the exhaust work was done. Happy to say that I was satisfied with the work completed by Neil and his shop. Being able to get advice from him along with being able to plan things out helped. Neil was also very friendly and a great person to talk to. There are lots of great family-owned businesses out here like this one. You just need to know where to find them.
